I've had a few readers who are interested in sewing up the Simplicity 2188 top (from this post), but are having a wee bit of trouble getting started. Never fear! The Simplicity 2188 Sew-Along is here!
Now, I've never hosted a sew along before. I'll probably be winging it a bit, but will do my best to be clear and helpful. I know Simplicity patterns were just on sale for 99cents at JoAnn's on MLK day. Anyone know when they'll be on special again? I've said it before, and I'll say it again. NEVER pay full price for any pattern from the big 4 (Simplicity, Butterick, McCalls, and Vogue) if you don't have to!
Well, my fabric is cut, and waiting for the washing machine. The first installment should be ready to go in the next day or so! Let's do this.
Yes!! This is exactly what I need! I commented on the post about the shirt you sewed. Maybe it needs to be approved since it was from a while back? That's what happens on my blog at least. I can't wait to do this step by step. You've probably seen my issues on Heidi's blog. I hope you can answer my questions! :)
