(Name that movie!)
I received a Stylish Blogger Award from Cheetah Velour! Only, I didn't know it. You see, it happened when I was taking a blogging break, and I guess Blogger didn't feel the need to email me when someone left me a nice comment. Sorry for the delay, Ms. Cheetah Velour, but I am flattered!
Here's how it works: you tell 7 facts about yourself, link back to the person who gave it to you, then pass it on to 4 others and let them know they've been awarded. Here goes!
1) I own a nearly complete set of Baby-sitter's Club books. I started collecting them again a few years ago for nostalgia's sake. I couldn't have gotten my collection so close to complete without the help of friends, family, thrift stores, and Paperback Swap.
Are 13 year olds really allowed to baby-sit? Although, these 13 year olds have it more together than some 30 year olds I know.
2) I am a pretty cautious person in general, but am adventurous when it comes to food. I love, love, love trying new foods!
3) I am kind of a fiber snob. Well, I don't know if you'd call it a snob. I'm just particular about the fiber content of my clothing. Polyester and I usually don't play nice together, especially when the temperatures rise. I prefer to stick with natural fibers like cotton, wool, linen, etc.
4) I really like to give compliments, but people can sometimes get weirded out if a random stranger tells then they have a great haircut or a cute purse. That's why I love to leave complimentary comments on other blogs! It's perfectly normal in the blog world.
5) I worked at a box factory with my best friend for a few weeks before we started college. As fun as that may sound...it wasn't.
6) I looove dogs. I see a dog, and I get all mushy and cutesy. You know how some people are with babies? That's how I am with dogs.
This one makes me especially mushy and cutesy!
7) I don't like wearing flip flops. I own one pair, and they are reserved for the beach and the shower when camping.
Now for the nominees:
Oh, the box factory. *shudder* I'm thankful I don't have any lasting scars from the glue machine!
