Costume Patterns in the Shop!

Once upon a time, I was really into costumes.  Really, really, a lot into costumes.  I had an extra closet and a dresser growing up devoted entirely to dress-up costumey clothing.  Whenever we put on a play or musical at my high school, I could recognize about a third of the clothing the actors were wearing as my own.

Because I loved sewing as much as I loved costumes,  I felt the need to purchase every single costume pattern I could get my hands on.  It didn't matter what it was, I just had to have it.

Fast forward 15  years.  I still love costumes, but they don't really fit into my lifestyle anymore.  I don't work on plays and musicals.  I don't wear wacky outfits to work.  I don't have space for all of this stuff.  Rather than hold onto patterns that I am probably never going to sew, I would rather release them to a good home.

So, if you need an outfit for Halloween, love community theater, or just really enjoy dressing like a fairy, visit my shop!  I've only added a few costume patterns so far, but there will be more to come.
